Contract management is very crucial in all Supply Chain Management dealings.SCM Head handling the Contracts should be fully conversant with the variousprovisions of the Contract which will have a very critical impact during theexecution process. Also Legal implications of not doing the Contract with all therelevant clauses explicitely addressed would result in delays in Project, costoverruns, embarassments down the line and in certain circumstances may alsostall the Projects. Hence it is very much imperative that the persons in the SCMfield should be fully conversant of the various steps in making a contract and alsothe legal and remedial actions during Project execution .
